DLH Experts Contribute to PSC FedHealth Conference
DLH leaders joined colleagues from across industry and government at the Professional Service’s Council’s (PSC) FedHealth Conference on May 24, 2022. Matters of civilian and military health policy, technology, and acquisition priorities were front and center for the speakers, panelists, and audience members attending this summit. Officials from HHS, VA, and DoD discussed their needs and challenges, giving industry leaders the opportunity to assess where the federal health market is headed and how the government contracting industry can best support its customers.
DLH Chief Growth Officer Jackie Everett (pictured right) served as co-chair of the conference. She provided opening remarks and introduced Opening Keynote Speaker Vid Desai, Chief Information Officer, FDA.
Director, Federal Health Don McMaster (pictured left ) introduced a panel titled “Leveraging Emerging Technologies to Improve Civilian and Military Health Care.” The conversation included Dr. Gil Alterovitz, Director of National Artificial Intelligence Institute, VA, Dr. Anne Lord Bailey, Director for Clinical Tech Innovation and the lead for Immersive Technology for VHA’s Office of Healthcare Innovation and Learning (OHIL) and Matthew McMahon, Director, Small business Education & Entrepreneurial Development (SEED) Office, NIH.
