DLH Acquires Silver Spring-based Danya International
Silver Spring, Maryland (May 2, 2016)—DLH Holdings, an Atlanta-based provider of healthcare services to the Federal Government focused on health and medical logistics, announced it has paid $38.75 million to acquire Danya International, Inc. The company, located in Silver Spring, Maryland, is a provider of technology-enabled program management, consulting and digital communications tools. All but $2.5 million of the deal is in the form of cash. Danya will operate as a unit of DLH, with founder Jeff Hoffman serving as a strategic market advisor for up to two years. The combined company is expected to be a major provider of technology services to the federal government, managing, monitoring and supporting large-scale healthcare and human services programs. “Danya’s federal IT management services experience will accelerate our health IT initiatives,” said Zachary Parker, the president and CEO of DLH. “We are extremely excited about the future opportunities that are created with this transaction.”
