Denise Ciotti

Denise Ciotti has served as Vice President for Business Development and Marketing Communications for DLH’s VA, DOD, and HHS focused divisions for six years.

With over 25 years of experience in the Federal health technology market, Denise is recognized as an industry leader in government health system modernization. She has led multidisciplined teams to understand and address program, software and hosting requirements for secure communications services, private health data, client relationship management tools, website maintenance, and the training and technical assistance needed to support customers’ mission critical solutions. Teams under Denise’s leadership have focused on the development of applications and systems that mitigate risk and ensure the privacy and security of sensitive information, privacy impact information (PII), and protected health information (PHI). Through this work, Denise has gained a unique insight into developing powerful enterprise web portals, case management systems and secure hosting mechanisms that support government organizations and ensure they can meet the critical needs of the beneficiaries they serve.

Prior to joining DLH, Denise had a distinguished career as the Vice President, Business Development for Humana’s Federal Healthcare IT subsidiary – DefenseWeb, Inc. She has served in business development and management positions focused on government technology needs for other Fortune 100s including Xerox, Pitney Bowes, and StayWell Health Management. Denise has also sever as Publisher and Chief Operating Officer of Veterans Health System Journals, a peer-reviewed Medical Journal for VA and DoD Physicians.

Ms. Ciotti resides in the Washington, D.C., area with her husband, Jim, and her dogs, Cooper and Quincy.
