DLH Principal Statistician Appointed to the ASA’s Caucus on Women in Statistics
DLH Principal Statistician Dr. Katherine Allen has been appointed to the American Statistical Association’s Caucus for Women in Statistics. This professional society assists in teaching, hiring, and advancing the careers of women in statistics, working to remove barriers to women in statistics.
Katherine was nominated to serve on this committee due to her dedication to increasing gender parity in statistics and data science. In this position, she will follow the organization’s mission to advance the careers of women statisticians through advocacy, providing resources, increasing participation and visibility, and promoting and assessing research.
Katherine will serve on this committee through 2025 and she looks forward to bringing her efforts and learnings back to team DLH!
