National Window of Service
Each year, DLH employees across the nation participate in our National Window of Service (NWS)—a volunteer campaign specifically benefiting Veterans and Military Members. During this campaign, DLH employees contribute, volunteer, and serve in a variety of ways to honor and give back to our Veterans in the communities in which they live and work.
NWS kicks off annually on Patriot Day—September 11—and continues through Veterans Day—November 11. The DLH Cares team leads all NWS efforts, planning activities that align with our initiatives to benefit Veterans and Service Members in a range of opportunities that all strive to uplift those who have served or are currently serving our country.
The DLH Community Embrace
DLH proudly supports organizations and nonprofits from the communities in which we live and work. Through our DLH Cares program, we empower our employees to participate in volunteer events local to them.
From cooking and serving up healthy meals to families in need, to packing comfort bags full of essentials for women undergoing breast cancer treatment, to hosting school supply and toy donation drives – we are dedicated to supporting and connecting with individuals in our local community.
