Pediatric Urinary Stone Disease

DLH researchers Julia Ward, Lydia Feinstein, Casey Pierce, and John Lim are among the authors of an article in Urology that examined the rates and treatment patterns of pediatric stone disease based on administrative health claims for individuals covered by commercial insurance. The analysis demonstrated differences by age, gender, race/ethnicity, and geographic region. The findings are based on data from the Urologic Diseases in America project. Other authors are researchers from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases and Johns Hopkins University.
